Designed and hand crafted in my Brighton studio using clay and brass - these lightweight earrings are hand cut, baked, drilled, hammered, sanded, finished and assembled with so much love.  

Made with polymer clay and solid brass. Brass shape. Sterling silver gold plated hoops.

This lightweight polymer clay has been specifically baked to be extremely lightweight and durable, but it is still clay so please treat your earrings with care and love to ensure a long life. 

I like to work with brass because it is generally a lot more ethical than silver or gold. It's typically made from recycled materials and can be recycled over and over again making it one of the most recycled metals in the world! In addition, when comparing the recycle process of brass to that of other metals, it is significantly more energy efficient.

It is in the nature of brass and silver to tarnish over time. You can choose to embrace the patina on your piece, or if preferred, you can use a simple brass polish (I use Peek) and cloth to polish your piece back to it original shine.
